One of the most important elements of any brand is its visual identity. You want to pick art that works with your site design, that’s consistent with the message you’re sending, and that reflects both you and your audience(s). You want to be consistent in your choice of fonts and the way you build your pages. And you want all of this to be informed by an overall colour scheme.
As I’ve noted, we’ve been using stock images to flesh out the site in draft. In the next week or so, we’ll do a shoot at the studio and start populating the site with images of our own. Big thanks to our friend Lenard for letting us use his fancy-shmancy camera.
The cornerstone of this, though, is The Logo. We know pretty much what we want; the challenge, so far, has been making it happen. Image quality’s been the obstacle. In the coming days, I’ll chronicle the process.
